About Noche de los Rábanos
This traditional Oaxacan festival, whose origin dates back to 1897, consists in that every December 23 the horticulturists and flower growers participate and compete to recreate the best Christmas scene made with radishes and recently they can also use immortal flower and totomoxtle (corn leaf ). The exhibition of these creative representations lasts only a few hours. The Night of the Radishes is considered one of the most popular fairs in Oaxaca.
