About Marietas Islands

The entry of 116 people a day will only allow no more than 15 simultaneously, and maximum may be in place 30 minutes.
Access is through a corridor marked by buoys, floats using only helmets and vests.
No longer allowed to dive at the site and the use of fins is prohibited.
It has to pay a permit per person of $5 usd to be able to go to the islands and if the exit is from Puerto Vallarta the entrance to the Port is $2 usd
The Marietas Islands are located in Nayarit off the coast of Punta Mita. However there are different ways to get from different parts such as Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta.
It is important to mention that nobody is allowed to stay on the islands, the tours are round trip.
