About House and Museum Tomás Garrido
In the middle of the Villa Luz Ecological Reserve, is what was the resting place of the former governor of Tabasco, Tomás Garrido Canabal, and that now has become a beautiful museum. The house itself is not very extensive, but its construction of two floors and French tiles make it quite pleasant. Inside, archaeological pieces of the Zoque culture, ethnic group of Oaxaca, Chiapas and Tabasco are exhibited; as well as typical crafts of the region.
