About The Regional Museum
Located in what was the Great Convent of San Francisco built in the sixteenth century, its rooms will find several pieces that tell the story of Queretaro, Mexico. Starting with the pre-Hispanic period for which several archaeological pieces, go through the colonial era and finally tells the importance of Queretaro in Mexican history are discussed. The building itself is also a museum piece as it witnessed history.
