About The Pedro Coronel Museum
A beautiful historical building in the city of Zacatecas, this place to visit was built in the 18th century to house the Jesuit school San Luis Gonzaga and later occupied by the Dominicans when the Society of Jesus was expelled from the country in 1776. It opens its doors as a museum in 1983 with the collection donated by Pedro Coronel in which you will find from pre-Hispanic pieces, Greek and Roman art, ritual masks, works by Picasso, Goya and Miró, and more.
