About Loreto Bay Nacional Park
It was decreed in July 1996 as a protected natural area, located in the Gulf of California, off the coast of the municipality of Loreto. Its territorial extension includes the crowned islands, Isla del Carmen, Danzante, Montserrat and Santa Catalina (or Catalan) and several islets. You can go on a boat tour to visit its islands, to practice various activities such as diving, snorkeling, taking a kayak ride or whale watching (during the season). This place to visit has a great variety of fauna that Jaques Cousteau called the aquarium of the world.
