About Church and Convent of San Antonio de Padua
In an area surrounded by important archeological sites stands out this colonial construction of the late seventeenth century that houses inside the oldest altarpieces of the Yucatan Peninsula. In the convent the Franciscans inhabited until 1821 and although it was demolished to be rebuilt years later, it is still an important historical jewel.
