About Señor de La Piedad (Sanctuary)
Majestic construction located in the historic center of the city of La Piedad. Built between the year 1741 to 1750 in Plateresque style; Although only the façade and the tower remain from the original structure, its dome is considered the largest in America and among the three largest in the World.
