About Historical Museum of the Sierra Gorda
Opened in 1991 in what was a fortress built in 1576 and rebuilt at the end of the century, the site seeks to rescue the great cultural wealth that is in the Sierra Gorda. It begins with a historical overview of the region and through engravings and antique and contemporary objects, offers a panorama of the inhabitants of the area.
The last room is dedicated to survivors of some communities pames Tancoyol.
