Huamantla

Housed in an eighteenth century mansion in this fun museum you can see the puppets and dolls used and collected by the brothers Rosete Aranda, who were famous puppeteers in the nineteenth century to the degree of being invited to the Presidential Palace for the same Benito Juarez.
The museum has eight rooms where you will see the more than 500 pieces brought from Germany, France, Italy, Indonesia and Pakistan among other countries.

Declared a National Park since 1938, these spectacular forests are ideal for outdoor activities. In his area of over 45 hectares you can take long walks through thick forests of conifers, climbing the volcano nearly 4,500 meters and even staying in some of the cabins or camping area.
