Calakmul

Calakmul is a rainforest region has high biodiversity, with ecosystems has great importance and fragility among which predominate: the lowlands, the tropical forest and evergreen high forests and small meadows, open areas acahuales and forest areas under management. It also represents an ecological link between Petén rainforest of Guatemala and Chiapas Lacandon region, with the north and Caribbean region of the Yucatan Peninsula.
