Teotihuacan is one of the most impressive archaeological sites and one of the largest metropolises in the world at that time. Its name means the place where the gods were created. The pyramids most important archaeological site and visited by thousands of tourists every year are the Pyramid of the Sun, 63 meters high, the Pyramid of the Moon, 40 meters high and the Temple of the Feathered Serpent, Quetzalcoatl and the rain god, Tlaloc, decorated with 365 heads of these gods.
