The Tajin, Prehispanic City

The Sacred City of the Totonac people, was founded in dc IV, is located in the northern part of the state of Veracruz. The architecture of this archaeological site is unique in Mesoamerica, because it is characterized by extremely elaborate reliefs columns and friezes. Niches Pyramid is considered a masterpiece of ancient Mexican and American architecture, where it reveals the astronomical and symbolic significance of the buildings.
