Vizcaino Whale Sanctuary

Mexico was the first country to create a sanctuary for whales in coastal lagoons Scammon and San Ignacio. The Whale crossing is done in organized groups that depart from the Arctic Ocean, down the west coast of the United States, and concluding in the lagoons of Baja California, comprising 12,000 route miles during the winter time. Witnessing all reproduction is a natural spectacle, considered a miracle of life and survival.
