The Indigenous Festivity dedicated to the Dead

The festivities practicing indigenous communities regarding the Day of the Dead, takes place every year in late October and early November. According to tradition, families scattered flower petals and placed candles and offerings along the way from the house of the deceased to the cemetery. The favorite foods of the dead are also prepared and placed around the altar and the grave. These preparations are carried out with care because it is believed that the dead can bring prosperity or misery, as he does not like or how the family met the rites.
