Description Marismas Nacionales
Extensive complex of coastal lagoons on mangroves, swamps, marshes and streams, which function as a biological corridor of great importance to the shelter, feeding and reproduction of resident and migratory birds in the country. The reservation system is one of the most important wetlands on the Pacific coast of Mexico, also consists of dense mangrove forests representing 20% of the total mangrove in our country, covering an area of approximately 113,000 hectares in good condition and excellent structure, considered the most extensive mangrove cover of the Mexican Pacific.
