Palenque

Natural protected by Palenque Archaeological Zone, eminent example of a Mayan sanctuary of the classical period. It is possible to observe a great variety of mammals such as jaguars, howler, woolly opossums, four-eyed opossum, guaqueques, gray squirrels, cacomixtles, kinkajou, besides admiring the endemic wildlife.
