Iztaccihuatl - Popocatepetl

The area protects the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, the second and third highest peaks in the country, icons of the Mexican landscape. The surrounding vegetation consists of pine, oak and high meadows, which host a variety of species of flora and fauna.
