Description Contoy Island
Contoy is an uninhabited island, considered one of the most important refuges of Seabirds of the Caribbean, its lagoons, mangroves and lowland forests are home to 152 species of birds recorded. In the summer, three species of sea turtles come to the beaches to spawn Contoy: the hawksbill, the loggerhead white. The wealth of Isla Contoy is present in the Reef Ixlaché because where lots beautiful species of corals, fish, majestic whale sharks and manta rays.
