About Miramar Lagoon
The Montes Azules Biosphere Reserve is home to this wonderful natural body of water, the largest in Chiapas and perhaps the most beautiful. Its tones range from green to cobalt blue, which cover an area of more than 2000 hectares. You can visit some caves with cave paintings, archaeological remains and enjoy the flora and fauna of the region that is undoubtedly one of the m'hermosas of Mexico.
How to get
Take the road to San Quintín and after 3 km you will find the town of Emiliano Zapata; from here, you will continue on foot or on horseback along an 8 km route to reach Laguna Miramar.
