About Convent of San Francisco
Located in the main square, its construction was completed in 1586 and its façade is characterized by sober and elegant. Its primary objective was to unite the two neighboring towns of Otlaxpa and Tepexic, the first Otomi and the second Nahuatl, who lived in conflict. Of course, this union was sought through the evangelizing work of the Franciscans, leaving this parish as a testimony of it.
