About Quiroga

This charming village is famous for articles made of wood and leather you can find in virtually the entire state. Formerly called Cocupao is renamed in 1859 in honor of Vasco de Quiroga who founded the famous hospital here-people.
Enters its many craft shops, visit the town of Santa Fe de la Laguna and his former hospital, the Parish of San Diego de Alcala and recalled that in July is the feast day.
