About The San Agustin Ex-Convent
This convent was built in 1576 and its temple is now used as a public library, making its distribution of books and tables very peculiar. It preserves a famous fresco elaborated by Juan O'Gorman that tells the story of Michoacán, including images of indigenous people, conquerors and Don Vasco de Quiroga. It is truly a beautiful construction with a lot of history.
