About Barranca de Cupatitzio National Park
Also known as Eduardo Ruíz National Park, it is divided into two parts: the Barranca de Cupatitzio National Park where you can take a tour along the river of the same name and among its abundant vegetation, and the Protected Area that consists of 452 hectares of pine forests. The flora is composed of 89 species of plants, among the most dominant ferns, orchids, ficus. Among the representative amphibians are the salamanders, toads, frogs and digging snakes. Inside the park there is a children's play area, craft sales, walking or running tracks, a rainbow trout farm and a typical food area.
