About Guelatao de Juarez
Very close to the village Capulálpam where the Father of the Americas was born is located. With a Zapotec past, his name means 'enchanted lagoon' and on its banks is a metal figure of the shepherd-boy, one who years later would govern the fate of the country. You'll also find a bust of Benito Juarez in front of the town hall and a museum.
On your visit you do not stop trying chepil tamales, mole and sweet jelly and squash.
